Zachary Quinto is the new Young Spock in the new Young Star Trek movie, which will probably not be called that.
The rumors have been bandied about the Interweb, and like everything you read on the Internet, it is true.
People at the San Diego Comicon greeted Quinto with applause befitting a king at a panel with director J.J. Abrams.
Then they greeted Not-Young Spock, Leonard Nimoy, with applause befitting a super-king. He'll be in it, too, playing himself. I mean, Spock.
Buy Nimoy's album, "Highly Illogical.". The one where he sings "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins." You deserve it.
Quinto said, "I certainly intend to bring my own spin."
Ha ha ha! Shut up!
Quinto better learn how to sing "Baggins," or he'll never forgive himself.
There's no Hot Young Kirk yet, and no word on Shatnerian involvement. But they said they're working on a way to get Shatner in it.
Hold his horses hostage. It's the only way.
Shatner is holding out for 25 years from now, when he'll cameo in a movie with the hip young actor who plays the young version of his character Denny Crane from Boston Legal.
The movie will be out Christmas Day 2008. Opening presents with your family is for suckers!
