George Garratt, age 19, changed his name to Captain Fantastic Faster Than Superman Spiderman Batman Wolverine Hulk and The Flash Combined.
He said "I wanted to be unique."
When he sent this news to the RevolutionSF staff, contributing editor Rick Klaw said this guy is "geekier than all of you combined."
Jayme Blaschke responds, "I don't cotton to Batman, Wolverine and the Hulk being classified as speedsters on the level of Superman and the Flash. Technically, Spider-Man ain't that "fast" either, but I'll give him a pass for quick reflexes and spider-sense. Dodging Superman's punches has to count for something."
And he spelled Spider-Man wrong.
Check out the picture. It's supposed to be Spider hyphen capital-M a n.
It's an honest mistake, though. It's only been spelled that way in every single comic book Spidey has ever been in.
Now who's geekier, "Captain"?
