Day One: They Already Did A Show Like This, But Never Mind That Now
Our
Knight Rider-airing friends at NBC will make a pilot for
Day One. It's about "a small band of survivors of a devastating global event that who strive to rebuild society and unravel the mystery of why the event took place."
I liked that idea for a show when it was called Jericho. CBS canceled that, then revived it when fans sent in nuts, then CBS really cancelled it. How many nuts will it take to save this one?
Thriller Video Director In Search of Blood
Director John Landis reacted to the news that someone wants to do a musical of "
Thriller" the same way we did: He sued them.
He said Michael Jackson doesn't have the rights to "Thriller," so he can't sell them to a Broadway producer, so nyah.. (Sorry for the legal terminology.)
For continuing coverage of any music video that contains supernatural elements such as zombies, werewolves, and Michael Jackson, stay tuned to RevolutionSF.com.
Blair Witch Project Directors Have More Of It
The
Blair Witch Project scared the oh-my-goodness please-call-mama out of me, and I am not afraid to admit it.
The directors want to release an extended edition with extra footage.
The extra footage better make people barf. That was my favorite part.
It's the 10th anniversary of the movie. Let's celebrate with a late night woods party!
Narnia Producers Ply Their Innocence
Disney kicked the
Narnia movie people to the curb, leaving the next movie out in limbo, which you cannot reach through a wardrobe. But now Fox rides to the rescue.
Not Matthew Fox, star of Lost, or Fox Mulder, who is a fictional character, but Fox, the people who own that network that does mean things to Joss Whedon.
They'll do Narnia because the Eragon movie didn't make them 70 bajillion dollars, the story said. That would be like doing a new Old Yeller movie because Marley and Me didn't catch on.
