Trailer Probe : The Road
© Joe Crowe
May 15, 2009

Trailer Probe watches sci-fi-ish movie trailers to help you waste your computer time wisely. Geek explosion content is reasons you will like it, dork disengagement level is why you won't.

The Road movie

Geek explosion content: Now that's what I'm talking about! When I hear someone say "road movie," Bob Hope and Bing Crosby better be in it.

Dork disengagement level: I hope this is the right trailer.

The Road movie

Geek explosion content: Hooray! The world ended and everyone's dead except Aragorn, a kid, the girl from Mighty Joe Young and some crazy post-apocalypse goons.

I don't remember disaster special effects and lots of slam-bang action in The Road book. But here it is! Yee-haw!

Post-apocalypse everyone looks like sweaty hobos! Whoo whoo!

Dork disengagement level: Bummer. I'm going to watch the trailer again.

There is not one bit of singing or dancing in this whole movie, I bet.

Geek explosion level: 400,000 geek parts per million.
