Trailer Probe : Surrogates
© Joe Crowe
May 26, 2009

Trailer Probe watches sci-fi-ish movie trailers to help you waste your computer time wisely. Geek explosion content is reasons you will like it, dork disengagement level is why you won't.

Geek explosion content: I just thought he was great in Moonlighting and Hudson Hawk but Bruce Willis can sing, too!

Dork disengagement level: I hope this is the right trailer, because it's pretty awesome. Bruce Willis should play a harmonica in every movie.

Really The Surrogates Trailer (No Fooling)

Geek explosion content: If you want to spend a few hours pretending to be a customer of the company that makes the cloney androids in the movie, then the movie site can hook that up for you.

So in the movie, people can get a cloney android thing to replace us and live our lives for us while we cool out in a dentist's chair. And Bruce Willis is a cop, and there's a murder, and Bruce also likes to hook himself up to a cloney android.

That's what little I gather from this trailer that shows the entire setup and story of the movie.

But what a convenient time saver!

Dork disengagement level: So Bruce Willis gets a cloney android, but the cloney android has a bad toupee. I would ask for a refund. Unless in the future there are no refunds.

I saw this movie three times already, when it was called Blade Runner, Matrix, and I, Robot.

If Bruce Willis don't respect himself, ain't nobody gonna give a goot-dee-hoot.

Geek explosion level: 500,000 geek parts per million.
