Emmy Awards 2009: Pushing Daisies, Lost
Two actors from nerdy favorites win Emmys! Everyone else got nothing.
The cast of Dr. Horrible was in a very good 2-minute video on the 2009 Emmys. Kristin Chenoweth from Pushing Daisies won the supporting actress Emmy, and Ben from Lost won supporting actor. Chenoweth was funny as she shilled for employment. Sheldon didn't win for Big Bang Theory, but Mad-Eye Moody and Jessica Lange from King Kong did, for dramatic things I did not see because they contained neither apes or wizards.
WoW-Playing Senator in Real-Life Campaign
Ray Tenorio
is running for lieutenant governor of Guam. He's also a level 80 Dwarf Priest in the Knights of the Marianas guild in World of Warcraft. This is for all those people who
say politicians never accomplish anything.
Nigeria vs. District 9

asked Sony to edit references to Nigeria out of the movie. She said the movie portrays the country in a bad light.
Let it go, Nigeria. America didn't sue the G.I. Joe movie.
Jedi vs. Grocery Store
The founder of the International Church of Jediism says a store
infringed on his beliefs by forcing him to pull down his hood.
The RevSF boards are trying to work through this crisis now.
Jedi people, you're on your own with this one. We allow you to grow a beard, wear a bathrobe and carry a toy lightsaber and call yourself a Star Wars costume wearer. But oh no, you had to push it.
You don't see the founder of the International Church of Jedism wearing his floppy hat when he goes to the store with Granny.
