RevolutionSF Newsblast is the only sci-fi news you need. Today's sponsor: Barbara Walters interviews the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Ninja Turtles Get Cut Some Slack

Peter Laird, co-creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sold the franchise to Viacom, owners of Paramount. Laird later said he won't do Turtles comics much longer and that Turtle stuff "has worn me down."

Very sad. From that field of weeds, he clearly must rescue the flower, because he possesses T-U-R-T-L-E power..

Star Wars Guy: No New Star Wars, Stupid

Some dingleberry started a rumor about more Star Wars sequels, and it spread about the Internet. Steve Sansweet said Star Wars fan relations guy at a con. in an interview that the rumor was "ignorant" and "stupid." He said it with a smile. I was hoping for a head-bob and an "Oh no you didn't."

V Series Shan't Freak Out New Yorkers

In other news about things that will not happen, I wrote this delightful piece of sci-fi journalism about the new V series sky writing ad campaign.

But never mind. A reporter found out how much pollution it would cause. Skywriting canceled.

Hope you're happy, Earth.

RevolutionSF's Joe Crowe has seen a Turtle get down.
