Another Star Trek movie is being filmed. Since it's the second Star Trek movie, everyone and their mama assumes Khan will be in it.
This is because Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan is one of the greatest movies ever filmed in the history of great movies.
But Simon Pegg, portrayor of Scotty, said in this interview there is no Khan in any Star Trek 2 script that he has seen.
He said "I haven't heard the name Khan come up. Not to say it won't come up, but I have heard no mention of him whatsoever."
They already did a Trek movie with Khan, and it totally ruled. I need no further Khan.
Regarding Pegg's claim of a Khan-free Star Trek 2, perhaps we should take with a speck of doubt any information that comes from an actor. Pretending is his job.
Also, he could be fibbing. Leave me with my Khan related illusions.
Producer Bryan Burk said something funny. He said, "There are amazing villains all throughout the Trek universe." The dropoff after Khan is really steep. Harry Mudd? The god that wanted a starship?
