It's taught by Amy H. Sturgis, a RevolutionSF.com contributor, teacher and author, who has written and hosted presentations and podcasts about Lovecraft, Tolkien, and Harry Potter.
The class consists of 24 90-minute online lectures with live Q&A. Registered students can download the audio and video of the lectures, and Sturgis accepts emailed questions in between lectures.
Sturgis' site is here: right here. For RevolutionSF, she wrote H.P. Lovecraft and Imaginative Fiction "
Here's the full list of lecture topics and
suggested readings.
The class is part of the curriculum of the Mythgard Institute, which is the best name ever for a college, and here's the course's official page.
It's a graduate-level class, but anybody can audit. Anybody can lord their nerdy knowledge over their friends and enemies, but now you can back it up.
