Lord of the Rings Men Model in Mens Magazine For Some Reason

This Thursday, if you can stop watching NBC's Must See TV for five seconds and turn it over to Fox, you can see Quest For The Ring, a 30-minute preview of the movie.

Actually, you'll need about 30 minutes. The will feature brief, clippy interviews with some of the people in the thing, which you don't get in those trailers that everybody has been dissecting for all this time.

It comes on at 7:30 Central time, so you will miss neither Friends nor Will nor Grace.

Meanwhile, some Lord of the Rings cast members are appearing -- not on television at all, but in a magazine. In this case, a wonderful magazine called Maxim, which is a men's magazine for all those who cannot bear to look at women who are fully naked.

In the December issue, Sir Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Elijah Wood (Frodo), Sean Bean (Boromir), and Orlando Bloom (Legolas) model fashionable clothes.

Unlike every other celebrity who appears in Maxim, none of them will have their hands covering their boobs.
