Peter Jackson Thrills New Zealand
Revolution News

Lord of the Rings director and New Zealand native PETER Jackson has been honored by his home country with the Companion of New Zealand Order of Merit.

That sounds a lot like Mr. Burns, and his Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Excellence.

The BBC News reports that Jackson said, "We're used to the achievements of our [New Zealand's] sporting heroes being honoured, and it's nice to have recognition for the arts and culture. To me that means more than any personal thing."

Which, I don't think, is meant as a knock to soccer hooligans. Unless Jackson just WANTS to get a Foster's bottle upside the head.
